Check In

  • We highly value security. Therefore, ALL children in Children’s Ministry will need to check-in.

  • Fellowship One allows us to know exactly who is authorized by YOU to pick-up your children. Currently, the system specifies the parents living in the household with the child are authorized to pick-up the child. If you would like to make changes or add additional authorized people (ex. grandparents) to your child’s profile, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing Naomi Martin (nmartin@mitchellroad.org).

  • Fellowship One nametags have a place for important allergy and/or medical information. Information is printed in a small black line. The presence of the line alerts caregivers to important information. If your child has allergies or medical conditions that caregivers/teachers need to be aware of, please email Naomi Martin (nmartin@mitchellroad.org) as soon as possible, so this information can be added.

  • The system will print a different nametag for each “hour” your child attends. For example, if your child is attending Children’s Church and Sunday School, he/she will have two name tags. Each nametag will have a different activity time on it but the same alphanumeric code. Please, have your child wear ALL of their nametags, as this will be extremely helpful to us in knowing who is dismissing during each transition.

  • You can check-in your children at any time during the morning. For example, you can check-in your K4 or K5 student at 8:30am for Children’s Church and Sunday School. You can also check-in your 2nd grader at 8:30am for their Sunday School class. Just be sure to remind them to wear their nametag to class.

  • K4 and K5 children will need to be checked-in to attend Children’s Church. To do this, please come into the church through the Children’s Ministry doors on your way to the service. We will check in guests at the Sanctuary or Fellowship Hall doors using a tablet computer.

  • Everyone in your family, who checks-in at the same time, will have the same alphanumeric code. If a family member checks-in at a later time, their alphanumeric code will be different.

  • Teachers are NOT permitted to dismiss a child without a parent receipt sticker with an alphanumeric code matching that of the child’s. If you lose your receipt sticker, please see Children’s Ministry staff.

  • If you send someone else to pick-up your child, be sure to give them your parent receipt sticker. Otherwise, they will need to see Children’s Ministry staff. We will need to make sure they are authorized to pick-up your children and walk with them to your child’s class.

  • Eventually, to add another layer for security, we will request that anyone on the Children’s Ministry hallway wear the parent receipt sticker.
